The problem that i had to do was to make a poster for a classroom about a element of design. My reasoning for making it look like the way it does was because i was still learning how to use photoshop and still learning all the different tools and what they do. I feel like the textures that i created like the grass and the sky help to add texture, so does the textures i put in the actual word. I think they help to send the overall message of texture because they add texture to the actual poster. I selected the type of typography because i wanted the word texture to be the focus of the whole poster and the things around it. I'm most pleased just with the overall way it looks when you look at it from a distance because it gives a sense of depth If I had the chance to start over I would actually probably change elements to value because I shade a lot and value is very important to that
The problem we were were trying to solve was to make a poster with a quote that meant something to us. My original idea is pretty close to my finished project i had the idea of the quote looking like it was burning with flames in the background. I feel like the things i chose support it because when you think of hell I don't know about anyone else but I think of fire and flames because that's just what i associate with hell and it supports the goal because i think it goals with it really well. I chose it because it gives the feeling that the letters are burning like they are burning in hell, and I chose it because it went with the background. I am most pleased with my work because i like the way it looks with the font going with the fire. If I could change one thing it would probably be the font or the background.
The problem I was trying to solve was that I had to make a snapchat filter for the Dog park of the town of DeWitt Iowa. My process was, I kind of knew what I wanted to do already because I thought if this when Mrs. Butler showed it to us, but I couldn’t find some of the pictures I wanted so I used the people with their dogs instead and I think it worked out good. The elements I chose supports the message of a dog park because the two people with there dogs looks like the dogs are playing with each other and the font with the paw prints look good because it goes with the dog theme. I chose the font because I thought it fit extremely well with the theme of dogs because of all of the paw prints and they just give the feel of a dog which I was going for. I am most pleased about the way the filter just looks i love the font I found with the paw prints in the letters and the people walking with their dogs. If I could start over I would probably change the color because it is all black even though I do really like the no color it probably would really look good with dark pictures
The problem I was trying to solve was that I had to make a snapchat filter for Westbrook park of the town of DeWitt Iowa. My brainstorming was i wanted to make the filter like westbrook so i had trees limbs in the filter with a nice font. I feel like the things I chose to put on support the idea of the filter because the font I chose I thought goes very well with the park and the tree limbs because it’s a park and had may trees and they support it because they all go with it I think. I chose a nice cursive style for the font because when I saw it I thought it fitted in perfectly with the park. I am most pleased about the font I chose because I thought it looked very nice with the limbs and the park overall. If I could start again I would probably redo the whole thing except the font, keep that but start everything over.
The problem i was trying to solve was to make a expressive self portrait. The process i had was i wanted to make this about me so i wanted to put two things that i like to do which is hunt and art. I feel the elements that i selected helped draw the viewer in and to look at it and overall I feel like it looks good and supports. The typography i feel is good because it’s very classical and I think it fits well with the quote. I feel most pleased about my whole portrait because i just enjoy the way it looks with the quote up on top. If i had to change anything i would probably just start over and restart and get some pictures from my mom of my family.
The problem i was trying to solve was making a propaganda poster. I wanted to make a poster the supported the end of global warming and to help spread awareness about it so i wanted it to be as attention grabbing as possible. The elements I selected were really to give it that space feel like the sun and the star brushes I chose those for space and to give it that feel, that you’re looking at space. I think the typography fits well because I think the font fits well, then with the cold and the warm I think it draws attention because of the hot and cold colors. I just love the overall look of the poster because I tried to make it like space as much as I could and I think I did ok with that. If I could change anything I would probably change the order in the words go and put the word warm down by the sun and cold by the shaded part of the earth
