My objective was to make a self portrait that represents my interests
I was thinking of things I liked, such as action movies and superheroes, so I decided to make something along that line.
I had the idea of recreating the classic action movie walking away from explosions, and I had created a simple superhero logo. I also put a controller in my hand to represent something like a batarang.
I used the text to show the reference to action movies.
My favorite part about it is the exploding car and how it looks real on the street.
I would change the background to a darker alley because it would match the message better and make the text more visible.

The objective of this poster is to promote the DeWitt Film Festival. I wanted to do something sci-fi-ish, so I thought of aliens. Then I decided I wanted the UFO’s to be film reels. Then I decided against rays and instead chose arms made of film strips. I chose the theme of aliens to promote films, and I feel the fonts promote the sci-fi movie feeling and still clearly give us info promoting the festival. I like how the UFOs turned out because the lights look good and it's a creative design. I would add more UFOs if I had the chance to promote the idea of mass invasion and fill in some background space.

The objective was to raise awareness to the FTC’s involvement in YouTube. I was thinking of topics I remotely cared about and thought of YouTube. I researched the COPPA act and then started making designs. I used a red rounded rectangle to express YouTube and the split background expresses the FTC thinking YouTube content is black and white. I used large bolded words to draw attention and made them colors to stand out against the background. I like the YouTube shape in the middle because it really drives in the point. I would try to express how YouTube content isn’t black and white for kids content and other content.
