12 x 18, Watercolor paint, Compressed Chalk, White Crayola Chalk, Chalk Pencils, and a washable thin marker, 2019
The style of art that I used is realism, you can that it is because my drawing shows a human hand reaching out for the bloomed flowers on the tree. If you were to look for the symbolism in my drawing, you would be looking at the flowers and the petals in the wind. In my opinion, there is a lot of things I want to redo, but the thing I want to redo the most is the tree and its branches. However, the one thing I don’t want to change is my hand that I drew.
18 x 24, Black Marker, Thin Black Sharpie, Chalk Pencil, and Extra Fine Graphite, 2019
The style of art that I used for my portrait was realism, you can tell because I had drawn a human face smiling and crying towards the observer. If you were to look for the symbolism in my drawing, you would be looking at the trees, leaves, rocks, and the bats. In my honest opinion, there are a few things I would love to change, but I mainly would like to not have traced my face in black marker. However, the one thing I don’t want to change is the mountains in my background.
12 x 18, Color Pencils, Black Studio Makers, and Extra Fine Graphite, 2019
The style of art that I used for my animal drawing was realism, you can tell because I had drawn a pretty realistic looking cat with a very interesting arrange of color for its fur. If you were to look for symbolism in my drawing, you would have to look at the collar around the cat’s neck. There is a lot of things I mess up on and want to redo this drawing, but the one thing I want to redo it to make the light pink out of color pencil rather than markers. However, the one thing I love about my drawing is how cute my cat’s eyes turned out.
