Elements and Principles Poster
Photoshop Elements
The objective of this project is to create an elements and principles of design poster for a k-12 art room. The planning part of this project was me making some sketches and I ended up choosing the simplest because I didn’t have enough time to put too much detail in there. I think the signifying thing in the element color is it is almost used in every part of design. The reason why I chose a simple and white font is because it was big easy to read and didn’t really take your attention away from the color. What I like about this project the most is the squares because I did them all by hand and they’re not perfect but good enough to look presentable. If I had the chance to start over I would have done something different that took longer and was more challenging.
Expressive Typography Quote

The objective of this design project is to find a quote we like and then find or create a graphic that we think represents or goes along with the quote very well. My planning process was me looking at a lot of famous quotes and trying to find my favorite one, then I had to go find the graphic. I choose this message because I think it’s a good message to live by and the graphic shows someone achieving something great. What I like the most about this project is that I think it looks like a motivational poster. If I were to change this in anyway, I would change the graphic.
Central DeWitt Film Festival Poster Contest

The Objective of this project was to try and make the best film festival poster for the upcoming film festival at our school. My planning process was me trying to figure out how I want to lay all the information out on the poster. I choose to do the night and spotlight theme because when I think of a movie premier, this is literally what I would think of. What I like the most about this project is how the lights look and how they blended with the words. If I could change anything I would change the font and the color of the words.
