1:1 iPad Programme (Grades 1-3)

Overview:

• All Grade 1-3 students must have their own iPad to develop digital literacy and maintain a digital portfolio.

• The iPads allow students to build confidence and competence in literacy, digital citizenship, communication, and collaboration.

2025-2026 CDNIS Recommended iPad Model or equivalent:

• 11-inch iPad A16, Wi-Fi, 256GB Storage

• AppleCare+ is recommended for added protection.

iPad Ordering Procedures:

• Parents have the option to purchase their device from any store of their choice, such as the Apple Store, or through the School's 1:1 program partner, Senco-Masslink, which offers an education discount. 

• To ensure timely processing and delivery for the new school year, parents wishing to order through Senco-Masslink should complete their purchase by June 3, 2025, for returning students and July 10, 2025, for new students. 

• Late orders are accepted but may not guarantee on-time delivery.

iPad Stay at School:

• iPads are to be kept at school, except during summer holidays.

• Students should have an iPad case and a headset with recording function.

Using a Pre-owned iPad:

• Families using a pre-owned iPad should ensure it meets specifications, enroll it in the school system, and provide labeled accessories.

Leaving the School:

• CDNIS software cannot be extended to departing students.

• Students must follow the Leavers Procedures to back up and reset their devices before leaving.

• Failure to comply may result in withholding of transcripts and remote device deregistration.
