My idea here was to make a cereal bowl that I can use in the morning when I have breakfast. I got the idea because mostly every morning I have cereal and I kind of want a cool bowl to use every day so I made myself a bowl. Inspired by my eating cereal most mornings.
The first thing I did has of course think of my idea and after that, I used the coil press to make my coils and started making my walls on the bowl. After messing around with how it looked and how I wanted it to look like I started smoothing it all out and making it look like an actual bowl. After that I make the bottom and put them together to finish it off I smoothed it all out until I like it. When I was done I waited until it was done firing and started to glaze it. I did a blue and purple color I THINK. The last thing was looking at the final thing after being done firing again. I used the rubber smooth tool and the little pokey things throughout the whole project.
I want people to think that I took a while to make this project and took my time. The most difficult thing was trying to make the bowl look the same from every angle you look at it which I think I actually did a pretty good job on that. I overcame that by just doing the best I can and I was proud of the final look. If I could change one thing about my project it would be to make the wall taller and maybe make it a little bigger because its pretty small for a cereal bowl.
This style is Realistic in my opinion, is unique because its different than a normal bland one-color cereal bowl that you probably have at home. my favorite thing is how the colors look, it looks like a galaxy and I love it a lot.
