Taylor Veach “VSCO”

My art is surrealism because it has the real idea but it looks like a cartoon. The ice cream cone is a big symbol because it has a bunch of different designs and sticks out. Another symbol is the sunset because it takes up a lot of the page and it is really colorful and vibrant. If i could start over I would rede the trees because I used the end of a chalk and I made a big mess and it took a long time. So next time I would use a colored pencil or a graphite pencil. I love the way the sunset turned out because I love the way everything blended together. I also like the way the fingernails turned out and the way it looks like a reflection on the nails from the sun.

My style of art is surrealism because it does not look real but it based around a real thing. The whale is a big symbol because a lot of people use that whale on shirts and jewelry and more. If I could start over I would change that way I made the lines in the stomach of the whale they are a little curvy and I am not a big fan of those lines. I love how simple and cute it is. I also like that I did the scratch art that is also why I think it looks so cool.

The style of art is surrealism because it looks real. The camera is a symbol of “fetch” I say this because it is just a cute little prop and can add a lot to anything. I feel like today a lot of people draw cameras, or have cameras in their pictures. If I could start over I would move the camera down a little bit to make it more centered. I love how the camera turned out I like how the shading looks and I like all of the flowers around it, it adds a lot of texture the the drawing.

I got my idea half from the internet but half from me. I saw a sunflower and I was like that is really pretty. So then I looked up a couple different flowers to stick out of the top and from the stem. This artwork does not really have a meaning to me but I like nature so it reminds me of nature. If I could change anything I would change the way the extra leaves came out I wish there was more color options for green but that is what I would change. I really love how this turned out I really like the ombre on the pedals of the sunflower.

For my paper printing I got my idea by looking at pictures on the internet, I looked up still life drawings and I saw one with fruit. So I took a couple different pieces of fruit and pieced it together. If I could change anything I wish I would have overlapped the fruit more because it is kinda just out by itself in the drawing. I love the way the seeds look in the middle, I think it really makes sure you know it’s fruit.
