Savanah Meyne "Sun//Moon"
12"x8", acrylic and water color on paper, 2018
The style of my painting is abstract. The symbolism was inspired by the quote, "The sun will rise and we will try again." The sun is showing that its a new day. If I could change one thing it would be the stars on the night sky. They look dumb and I should've made the smaller. My favorite part is the watercolor of the night sky, I love how the moon looks like its lighting up the sky.
Savanah Meyne "Shaking Hands"
9"x12" acrylic and watercolor on paper.
The style of my painting is abstract. The symbolism in my painting was inspired by the quote "Shaking hands with the dark parts of my thoughts." The Skelton is symbolizing the bad and the normal hand is becoming bad. If I could change one thing about my painting it would be the line between the white and red because it's not straight. My favorite part is the red bleeding into the white.
Savanah Meyne "Rat Dog In A Car"
18"x12" acrylic on paper
The style of my painting is realistic. I really just love my dog and I thought that this picture was cool so I painted it. If I could change one thing about my painting would be the part in the mirror because it looks weird. The thing I love about it is the layers of paint of the fur because it looks like there are different layers of hair.
