I wanted to make a colourful character. Looking at cartoon characters and simple shapes, I took some inspiration. I then developed my idea by adding some colors and detail. In order to create my piece of art, I used paint and a paintbrush. I began by painting the background. I painted the bright pink section. Next, I added the eyes and white pupils. I then added some texture using brush strokes. My art represents creativity and fun. The bright pink represents energy and joy. The eyes give the characters life. I want people to see the fun and personality within my art. The most difficult part of my art was making the shapes look even. I took my time and added more paint where needed. If I were to do this again I would add more detail and have neater lines. My art is abstract and cartoon like. It has simple shapes and bright colours. My art has a unique style as it is playful and colourful. I love how the pink really stands out with the eyes.

I wanted to create a vibrant flower with a unique background. I got inspiration from pop art and Takashi, as it uses bright colours and bold patterns. I wanted the piece of art to be happy and creative. I first painted the background using black and white. I then used random shapes, thick lines, and dots to make the background detailed. I painted the flower with bright colours such as pink, purple, blue, green, yellow, and orange. I put a smiley face in the centre using paintbrushes. I layered and outlined the flower. This piece of art conveys a sense of happiness. The smiley face shows that the flower is happy. The flowers have different colours, which represent different emotions and personalities. The dark background contrasts with the bright flower. I wanted people to feel happy when looking at this piece of art. The hardest part of this piece of art was making the background detailed but not too distracting. I also needed to ensure that the colours were vibrant. To overcome this issue, I took my time to add in extra details. If I could do this again, I would add more detail to the petals and some of the patterns on the background. This piece of art combines pop and abstract art. It uses bright colours, bold outlines, and varied patterns. The flower has a unique design due to the smiley face and colourful petals. My favourite part of this piece of art is how the flower stands out on the dark background. I love how this piece of art has a fun and upbeat vibe.
