"Deer In The Hiding"
(14x16x3)
The materials I had used were: Paint, wire, plaster, mold. For my mask I was inspired by the Christmas nights at my great grandma's house every year where she would tell me and my cousins stories about reindeer and how they come at night and how they are so beautiful and graceful. First I had picked the horse mold then covered it with plaster. I then took wire and shaped out two antlers then also covered them with plaster. I added the antlers then started to paint with a light brown color I had made. The then covered the horns with paint and started adding detail like the white dots and pink shadows on the eyes. It was very difficult to put the plaster around the thin wire of the antlers and then having to apply the antlers because one appeared heavier than the other. It was very risky when I had to shape the wire so that I could still be able to put plaster on them while it would still look good. I think that it turned out really good and looked like I wanted it too which was really nice because I had a pretty nice picture in my head of what I wanted. If I could start over I think I would change the way I had shaped the antlers and had tried to make them more symmetrical and easier to put plaster on.

"Javan Rhino"
(18x12)
The materials that I used were oil pastel, black water color paint, water, thick paper, and hot glue. I was inspired by a video that my friend sent me a year back of a man finding a rhino that had been attacked by hunters for its horn. I looked up what kind of rhino it was and it turned out to be a Javan Rhino so that had inspired me not to do A African or White rhino but a Javan Rhino. First I sketched in my sketch book the Javan rhino then had gotten the big paper and had drew the rhino and some trees on the paper. Then I had traced the lines of the pencil with hot glue then waited for it to dry. I then got oil pastels and started coloring them in and then started to make the savanna floor. After I had done that I started to crack the paper in the doing making cracks in the oil pastel. I then put black water color over the whole thing and while rinsing off the paper it had left black lines witch were the cracks from the oil pastel earlier. I then put the picture in a frame and finished my project. I was really difficult to get the grass to smear together so i had done it with a paper towel. It was really risky to crack your paper because you do not know if you cracked enough or not so you would have to wait until you got the water color on. I think that if i could change anything I would change the hot glue because I went really fast on it and it did not turn out the best it could of been. i would also change the rhino because I wish it were larger then the trees.

"Clay Face"
(9x4x1)
The materials that I used for my clay face we clay, and glaze. I was inspired to use some cool colors other than red, yellow, and orange. I have always liked the color blue so I knew I wanted to use a lot of blue. I also saw a fellow classmate use the green that I thought would look good on my project. I also saw that in some glaze there were beads that would melt with different colors. I took some of them out of the bins and put them on different colors that I wanted. First I had to pick a face that I wanted so I tried to think up of something funny and crazy yet kinda fancy. I then had to mold out my faec in which would later on go in the kiln. After it was done in the kiln the first time I had to pick out my glaze and put it on it. After it had been glazed it went into the kiln for a second time to make the glaze shiny. I think it was quite difficult to shape some of the shapes for the face like the nose and eyebrow. I think that if i were to change anything I would change the texture on the lips.

"McDonalds Play Place"
(9x12)
The materials that I used for my project was paper, graphite, and shaders. I was inspired by going to the mcdonalds so many times that I wanted to make it. First I had to think of what I wanted to do with my project, then I had to make a sketch and perform it on my final paper. After I sketched it on my paper I started to shade to give it contrast. Then I had my project. I thought it was very difficult to shade in some places as well as matching up with the dot in the room. I think that if I were to change anything it would be the way I shaded the walls.
