The hippy flower
10’x8’
photoshop
It reminded me of a dream I had about my grandmother. I first started with the blue for the flower, then moved on to light blue. I then moved on to the purples and greens, then reddish purple. The leaves were next and then worked on my background. A challenge I had with this project was the computer itself. A new thing I tried was moving my fingers around to make it work better. I like all the pretty colors the best. If I could start over I would not change anything.

Japanese style galaxy plate
(2.2inches, 5.5)
seramic , and paint
It was the style of plates that the japanese used in the 18th century. It was the ceramic and then waiting for it to dry. And then after that it was to paint 3 coats of the colors I used, then it went into the celne. well there was some cracking but I fixed it by using slip to put it back together. I tried to make the bottom part a little more even, and at one point I tried to use a tool called a rib it was a little hard because it was making lines. I love the colors I had picked out. It made it look like a galaxys and it’s just really pretty all together . I would change nothing about this because it is perfect just the way it is.
