Kathryn Grau “Billy”
18x24”, Acrylic on Paper, 2019
This painting fits the life lesson because it is a portrait of my great uncle who taught me great values during his life and after his death. This is a painting of my great uncle Billy Stroud who passed away a few months ago. I painted him because I wanted to gift it to my uncle who had a great relationship with him. His hat is the logo of his favorite gun supplier. If I could start over I would change his glasses because of how they look uneven and titled. I love how realistic his face looks and how exact his sweatshirt is.
