This project I made a dip bowl. I first started out with the base, and then made the walls of the bowl. After that, I fired it and glazed it, and fired it again. One of the tools I used was a piece of sandpaper. That is how I made it so smooth. This artwork is utilitarian because it is used for sauces to dip in. Some of the struggles that I had were this was my first time making anything, and I didn’t really know how to do anything, but then I tried to make it and I did it. This is a realistic small pot and can be used for many different things. I like how the glaze turned out. It looks like a few different colors combined!
