"The Hopeful Cookie"

For my Utilitarian project, I created a cookie jar. This cookie jar has a deep yellow color, with light pink hearts on the top. I also added a crater to put the hearts and handle in, as well as carved waves into the sides. I created this cookie jar because it reminds me of the one that was always at my uncle and aunts house. I always remember being excited to open the cookie jar and smell the sweet aroma of sugary delights. The "Hopeful Cookie" resembles my hopes in excitement and surprise, as well as joy. Something I would do differently about this piece is making it smoother and more symmetrical/percise. But something I love about this piece is the little pink hearts and the small details on the sides that are waves and curves.
