I wanted to do a landscape painting. I was looking at pictures/images and came across one that I liked. I had two pictures saved that I could look after and just started outlining. I started by doing the mountain in the back first, I did that and added colors then worked on the sky. I did the shading added more details and got ideas from someone. I had to use my fingers and many different brushes to get what I wanted. I want people to see it to be calming and real. And get this experience if they ever go on a vacation to a place with mountains. Took a while to get things right, definitely changed a lot of things and redid a lot. Getting the trees and mountains to look real was the most difficult. I wanted it to look realistic as much as I could and didn't give up.

I've seen koi fish and always thought that they were pretty. I liked them so I decided to just paint them. I started by doing the rocks first, I then added two lily pads then started sketching out the fish. I added a base layer and then started painting. Once I added details around like water and was done with the fish something looked missing. I decided just to add another lilypad. The most difficult part of it was trying to make it look real. There is a lot of detail on top like the fish and lily pads. The rocks weren't my favorite. I want people to look at it and see everything.

I got this idea from wanting to redo an ocean painting. In my last painting class, I did one and did not like it. I redid a lot of parts and still ended up not being happy. I wanted to retry again so I did a different type. I started by doing the background colors and just adding what color is the main. I started with the sky adding shading with the sky to make it lighter or darker. I then went on to work with the water, all I had to do was add dark "bumps" And put it together like waves. I mixed a light blue and put that on the bottom and more started to put white over it to look like water bubbles. I looked at it and something looked missing, Since it was dark I wanted to make it look like a storm so I added lightning. I look at this painting like a redo. I do like this way more and making it look better.

The idea of this painting was to do work on a diffrent shades. The way I did that was by using many colors of greens and shading in the river and sky. I like doing landscapes and views that you have fun looking at. The way i started off was sketching it all out. I started by doing the sky but messed up. I didn't like the way it looked so i retried when it all dried. I started on the water next and experiencing with colors. I fixed. A bunch of diffrent greens and made diffrent shades. One it was all done i did like the way it looked. The most difficult was getting the colors right in the sky. It was either to dark, to bright, or to much. This painting is used with acrylic and diffrent types of brushes to use stuff out.
