Mr. Andersen graduated from Idaho State University with a bachelors degree in music education. His primary instrument is trombone, but he is proficient in brass, woodwind, and percussion. He previously taught at Soda Springs High School and Hillcrest High School before making the move to Green Canyon. He enjoys spending time with his wife and two children.

Show Design / Marching
Elayna has been our drill writer, show designer, and visual caption head for the past four years. She was also on staff at Sky View. She has been a band parent to 8 of her own children as well as hundreds of other children in Sky View and Green Canyon's band programs.

Percussion
Curtis is a podiatric surgeon with Intermountain Hospitals and works as our percussion instructor, working mainly with the battery. He has been on band staff for 16 years, first at Sky View and now at Green Canyon. He has a beautiful wife (see left) and 8 children.

Colorguard
Katy has been coaching colorguard for nine seasons. She spun with Sky View's colorguard from 2005-2007. She has a bachelor's degree in English and a master's degree in education. She is a current teacher at Green Canyon and has been teaching for 8 years in total.

Percussion
Emily studied music education at USU and is a graduate of Sky View's band program. While at USU, Emily was the drumline captain, principal percussionist in the Wind Orchestra, and received many other honors. She currently serves as an adjunct professor for the USU Music Department.
