Hi! My name is Kaitlyn Raquet, and I teach first-grade here at Bardonia Elementary.  This will be my second year teaching first grade!

I graduated from St. Thomas Aquinas College in 2022 with my BSEd in Childhood Education and graduated in 2025 with my Masters  in Special Education. 

Having grown up in this community and attending Clarkstown schools, I'm filled with pride to return and work in the district that ignited my passion. A fun fact about me is that I've aspired to be a teacher since I was in the first-grade! Being able to fulfill that dream now is incredibly rewarding, and I am looking forward to a wonderful year ahead.

8:22 - 8:30: = Arrival

8:30 - 8:45 = Morning Meeting

8:45 - 9:15 = Phonics

9:15 - 10:15 = Math

10:15 - 10:45 = Recess

10:45 - 11:15 = Lunch

11:15 - 11:30 = Independent Work Time

11:30 - 12:00 = Reading

12:00 - 12:30 = Content

12:30 - 1:30 =  Intervention/Enrichment

1:30 - 2:15 = Special

2:15 - 2:55 = Writing

2:55 - 3:00 = Dismissal
