All About Mrs. Boyer
Hi! My name is Alison Boyer and I am a first grade teacher here at Bardonia Elementary. I graduated a long, long time ago from Wagner College with a degree in musical theatre & business management. I have a master's degree in Elementary Education from Long Island University, with a specialization in literacy. This is now my 23rd year of teaching! I have taught kindergarten, first & third grade.
I grew up in Clarkstown and attended Clarkstown schools. I was a student at Link, Festa and South and find it very rewarding to be working where I learned so much passion for children and education!
I still love the theatre, music and singing. I also love to travel, read books, ride roller coasters & relax at the beach, which is my happy place!
My husband and I have two children - Ryan, who is 11, and Amelia, who is 6. As a busy, working mom, I appreciate and know the importance of enjoying family time together!
I am looking forward to a fun and great year!
