Below are some community resources that may assist you when navigating issues surrounding health.

Children's Special Health Care Services (CSHCS) is a program within the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services. It is for children and some adults with special health care needs and their families.

CSHCS helps persons with chronic health problems by providing:

  • Coverage and referral for specialty services based on the person's health problems.
  • Family centered services to support you in your role as primary caretaker of your child.
  • Community-based services to help you care for your child at home and maintain normal routines.
  • Culturally competent services which demonstrate awareness of cultural differences.
  • Coordinated services to pull together the services of many different providers who work within different agencies.

The Hope Network provides ABA therapy and supports for individuals diagnosed with Autism, in addition to other mental health services such as therapy for children, teens, and adults and services and care for individuals who have experienced neurological conditions.

Community Action Agency provides emergency services for eviction prevention and utility assistance, parenting classes for men, foster grandparent programming, home delivered meals for senior citizens, and assistance with weatherization.

Office Hours: Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 10am to 3pm

Branch County Health Department will provide services for immunizations, Women, Infant, and Children (WIC) program, blood lead testing, STD prevention, communicable diseases services, HIV testing and counseling, breast feeding education and support, school vision and hearing clinics, health insurance, travel information, and fluoride varnishing.
