Meet your Region 7 director - Connie Blevins
Connie Blevins was raised in Pulaski County, VA. She later moved to Giles County when she met her husband of 30 years. She received her RN Associate degree from New River Community College in 2006. She has worked for Carilion as a CTL, Nursing Supervisor, Educator with Training & Development and earned her BSN through Jefferson College of Health Sciences. In 2016 she accepted a position at the Giles County Technology Center in Pearisburg, VA as a NA and Phase I Practical Nurse instructor. In 2017, she applied for and accepted a position as the Director of the Nursing Program as well as the Phase II Practical Nurse Instructor. She and her husband have 2 children and 3 grandchildren. They enjoy gardening, camping, cooking out, and taking family vacations.
