Meet Your Region 2 Director - 

Kathy Jones              

I am serving as your Director for our region. I retired from Chesapeake Career Center in June 2023 after 41 years teaching practical nursing and serving as Director for 39 0f those years. I am passionate about the work of VAHAMSEA so I agreed to serve in this position to represent you.  I have previously served as Region Director and President of this organization.

I am a Norfolk native, graduate of Maury High School and the Medical College of Virginia of Virginia Commonwealth University. I also hold a Masters in Education from Regent University. Currently, I reside in Chesapeake and enjoy the retiree life and volunteer opportunities, as well as activities as Gammy to my grandchildren.
