Meet your Region 5 Director -

Vada Holcomb

Vada Holcomb RN, BSN, MSN/Ed, MAED/AET

Vada Holcomb was born and raised in Charlottesville, Virginia. For 10 years Vada worked for the University of Virginia Health Center in the following areas: Neurology, Coronary Care Unit, Psychiatric, Digestive Health, and Labor and Delivery. A door opened for her as a part of the educational system, which she was very excited about. Vada has worked for the Albemarle County School system as a Health and Medical Sciences, PVCC Dual Enrollment Medical Terminology, and Sports Medicine Teacher for the last 18 years. She received her RN from Piedmont Virginia Community College. She received a Bachelor of Nursing, a Master of Nursing, and a Master in Adult Education and Training from the University of Phoenix. Vada is the wife of Pastor Ryan Holcomb (Union Baptist Church, Trevilians, VA) and they have four daughters, Brittany, Brehanna, Makiah, Malaya, and one son Matthias. In her spare time, Vada loves to host and spend time with family and friends. Vada is a one-of-a-kind person; she is humble and a nurturing person to all. I have been apart of VAHAMSEA for the past 17 years and would change anything that I have been empowered with from this organization. Love me some VAHAMSEA!!!!!!!!!
