If you haven’t already, try making a drum! You can use old cans from food (washed out, of course!) or coffee tins, or you can just use a plastic cup or a pot/pan from the kitchen - just make sure you ask your parents first!
2.
Use your drum to practice playing different rhythms using the document to the right ====>
If you can print them, cut them out and rearrange them to make your own rhythms!
*** Make sure you say AND play the words!
If you don’t have a drum that’s okay - see how you can use your body to make different sounds to play rhythms:
Clap your hands
Stomp your feet
Pat your legs, head, shoulders, or belly
Click your tongue

3.
See how many different sounds your voice can make! Draw a roller coaster or a bunch of hills on a piece of paper and practice making your voice go up and down to match what the roller coaster is doing
Use a flashlight or laser pointer (or even just your finger!!!) to go up and down on the wall - make your voice match what the light or your fingers are doing!
For A Little Extra Fun...
This is one of my favorite music groups and guess what - they did videos for kids like you!!!! Here's one of my favorites but please check out the others.
