Help your student prepare for 5th Grade. Below is just a preview of what you can find within the summer packet. Don't let the name fool you! This packet is a review of ALL 4th grade, which will help you to prepare for 5th. Set aside some time each day to review 1, 2, or more skills. Print off as you go, or simply the whole packet and complete just a few pages a day.
Do we have to complete the packet? No, this is completely optional. However, the skills you review and practice from this packet will certainly help to keep the material current in your mind and help to prepare you for 5th grade.
What should we do when we are finished? Great question! You also have access to your backpack APPS. Login to your chromebook and find your backpack. Try reading a MyOn book or play Dreambox.
Do I need to turn in my work? We would always LOVE to SEE your work. Feel free to bring in any and all work that you have completed when you return in the Fall.
What if I need help? Another great question! If there is a page or skill that you are having difficulty with, no worries. The joy of this packet is that most of the pages have a detailed explanation of what to do. However, if after that you are still in need of some help, there is an answer key at the end of the packet to help explain the correct answers. Or you are more then welcome to find a parent and/or close family member to ask.
