Finalists of the ONS
We are thrilled to celebrate the achievements of Year 12 students Deanna, Charlie, Ridon, and Abdellahi, who have reached the final of the ONS (Office for National Statistics) competition! The team compared Barnet to Newham and developed a strategic plan to improve Newham based on a variety of economic indicators. With all four students aspiring to pursue finance and business-related subjects after their A Levels, this experience is a fantastic step towards their future goals. The Business Studies department is incredibly proud of their hard work and dedication, and we are excited to see their efforts come to fruition in the final this January. Please join us in wishing them the best of luck and congratulating them on this remarkable achievement!
In addition, all Business Studies students recently took part in an employability seminar, where professionals from a range of sectors shared insights into their roles and career paths. It was inspiring to see so many students engaging with these opportunities, demonstrating ambition, curiosity, and a real drive to succeed.
