It's important to take care of yourself when you are supporting someone through a difficult time, as this may stir up difficult emotions. If it does, please reach out for yourself.
The Contra Costa Crisis Center has a team of counselors who can help students and parents better understand and deal with trauma response and the grief process. They dedicate their services to keep people alive and safe, help them through crisis, and provide or connect them with culturally relevant resources in the community.

Contra Costa Mental Health Services strives to create an effective, high quality integrated system to meet the needs of all residents of Contra Costa County. The Mental Health Services provides an array of opportunities for partners to work together in the spirit of hope toward recovery.
Mental Health Technology Transfer Career Center Network's purpose is to disseminate and implement evidence-based practices for mental disorders in the field. This network supports resource development and dissemination, training and technical assistance, and workforce development for the mental health field.
Mind Out Loud is a youth-led mental health movement which includes free monthly workshops, free student rep program, and a free online annual event. Mind Out Loud focuses on personal wellness, suicide prevention, support for marginalized communities, and mental health awareness and advocacy.
The Soluna App is an innovative virtual behavioral health program. The Soluna App will provide youth and young adults (ages 13-25) with immediate access to a comprehensive mental health toolkit, community support, resources, digital journaling, and personal coaching - all at no cost to the user, their parents, or their school. The Soluna App is available to download on all IOS and Android devices.
Wellness Education Lab is offered by Wellness Together School Mental Health. Wellness Together School Mental Health, a national 501 (c)(3) organization, delivers effective mental health services online so that you can provide a safe and more supportive environment for students.
