Select the printer you want to use. Our current options are:

Ultimaker S7
If the printer you need is not shown select Add Printer -> Non UltiMaker printer -> Add a non-networked printer -> Select the needed printer from the options.
Import your file (.stl) into Cura. You can select File -> Open File(s) and then find them in the computer OR you can drag and drop the files into the Cura window
Select the appropriate materials in the Material Configuration area.
Print settings panel. This panel shows the current printing strategy at a glance, click it to view the entire panel.
Print profiles. The available profiles for the current configuration are visible. Some Ultimaker 3D printers offer intent-based profiles, fine-tuned to meet specific needs.
Resolution. Select the layer height for your print. Thinner layers ensure a higher resolution with more detail, while thicker layers ensure faster prints.
Infill. The infill slider can be used to easily set the overall model strength.
Support. Enable or disable automatically generated support structures. You can choose either of the available extruders for printing the support structures.
Adhesion. Enable or disable additional adhesion such as a brim or raft. The type of adhesion is automatically set by the print profile.
Custom mode. This will open the custom mode which has hundreds of print settings to manually finetune printing profiles.
Select Slice once you have the file oriented and print settings set.
Cura will take a minute to create all the toolpaths. Once the slicing is complete select Preview to show the sliced model and toolpaths.
Inspect your model to make sure supports are generated correctly, the time is appropriate, and nothing looks wrong with your print.
If anything looks incorrect, change the settings or model, and Slice again.
If the print looks good select Save to Disk. Upload the final file to the appropriate CAM Submission Link for your project and wait for your print to finish!
Makerbot files should be .makerbot
Ultimaker S7 files should be .ufp
The MakerBot Sketch should be used for the vast majority of prints in this class.
