Welcome! Biology is an introductory course preparing the student for further studies in biology in college. It is directed toward the study of living organisms. Emphasis is placed on biological principles and their application, problem solving, and the development of laboratory skills.

Assessments 60% (Tests + Projects)
Assignments 40% (Lab + Daily + Quiz)
Retakes for Assessments are allowed. Students will be allowed to retake any assessment. The highest possible grade for a retake is a 90%
New District Policy - Extension of New State Law:
Electronic devices (cell phones, ear buds, Smart watches, etc.) are no longer allowed. Devices need to be placed in students’ backpacks during the school day. Violation of this policy will result in discipline that goes straight to administration.
