The Beginning Honor Band Clinic is a Georgia Music Educators Association, sponsored event. This band is made up of sixth grade musicians from all schools across our GMEA district, which includes 15 regional counties/school districts. During this 1 day clinic, a guest clinician will rehearse the band on Saturday morning, concluding with a concert for family and friends that afternoon. 

Students and families are invited to request their name for consideration in this event as early as January/February when information is sent home. After receiving nominations from participating schools, students will be selected for participation, via a lottery. Participation is not guaranteed. We normally have 5 or 6 selected to represent our school for this event.
