Regular Psych Syllabu

For my Regular Psych Class Pages in Google Classroom: use these codes depending on which class you are in. We will be using Google to take most of our TESTS.

Grading- 2 categories

Formative (Quizzes & Dailey): 40%

Summative Tests & projects: 60%

You need to have a specific way to keep up with vocab. I will do vocab checks once per 9 weeks.

My website has very basic information on it, so refer to Google classroom for up to date info and reminders. Due dates and quiz/test dates will be updated there and are always on the board in the classroom. Knowing when a quiz or test is due is your responsibility and being sick the day before isn’t an excuse to not take a quiz or assignment that you knew about days in advance, unless you are very ill or have a multiple days absence.

Makeup grades will be handled case-by-case. If you forget to do a makeup grade, I will not continuously remind you. YOU need to take care of this responsibility.

Late Policy

Work not submitted will be posted as “missing”.  Please note that assignments left in your car, locker, book, other classroom, etc. not be counted as “on time”.

The absence policy for makeup work and exemptions will be followed as closely as possible- you have 5 DAYS to bring in a note when absent- you have 5 DAYS to make up work that was assigned while you were out. 

FOR THE PARENTS: 

We will be using the television series Brain Games and the television series Superhumans in the classroom to support areas we are studying. Both are owned by the school media center and are normal content (not rated R). If you have any concerns please let me know.
