About Me
Hello Parents and Students,
This is my sixth year teaching and am excited to have you all! I am a graduate of Evans High School(2016) and Augusta University(2021) with a Bachelor's of Arts in History with Secondary Education Certification. I am also a graduate of Georgia Southern University with a Master's in Curriculum and Instruction. I started my career at Greenbrier High as a lay coach in 2018 with the football and girls basketball programs. I was on staff as a teacher from 2021-2023. This is my fourth year at Harlem and I am an assistant coach for the football team. I am happily married to my beautiful other half Courtney. She currently works for Piedmont-Augusta Hospital in the Cardiovascular Unit. We have a two little girls, Baylor (3) and Sutton (9 months). We also have a miniature dachshund named River. We are also members at Warren Church, where we serve in the preschool and nursery. I enjoy 80s and early 90s movies from any genre, spending time with family, reading, running, and the Georgia Bulldogs and Pittsburgh Steelers on the gridiron and the Duke Blue Devils on the hardwood. I am excited to being able to work with you all this year and hope to expand your knowledge and interest in Social Studies. Go Dawgs!
