Mr. Ryan Bratton is excited to work at Greenbrier Middle School for the 2026-2027 school year. Originally from the mountains of Asheville, NC, Mr. Bratton attended college at the University of Georgia (Go Dawgs!) where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Music Education. He recently graduated with his Master's in Music Education through Georgia College and State University. While at UGA, he marched sousaphone with the Redcoat Band. His primary instrument is tuba, and he enjoys playing euphonium, trombone, and piano as well. He performs in several local bands including the Savannah River Winds and the Columbia County Wind Symphony. Mr. Bratton began his career as Assistant Band Director at Lee County High School in Leesburg, GA before he joined Greenbrier MS. He loves to be active and play all types of sports, especially basketball and tennis. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his two cats, Zoe and Leo. Mr. Bratton lives in Evans with his beautiful wife, Keelin, who is a talented musician herself. 

Mr. Bratton is a member of the National Association for Music Education, the Georgia Music Educators Association, the National Band Association, and Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia.
