I took my first accounting class in high school and was so intrigued, I was sure that I’d found the career for me. I graduated from Auburn Adventist Academy in 1985. Once I got to college I had a fantastic accounting instructor who further fueled my passion for financial order – I was hooked on accounting. I graduated with a BA in Business/Accounting from Seattle Pacific University in December 1989 and went to work in the world of public accounting. My husband, Greg, and I were married in April 1990 and lived in western Washington.

I’ve worked for several accounting firms, ranging from my first job in Seattle, WA with an international firm to much smaller firms in Tacoma, WA and Wenatchee. In 1992 when we had our first child, I began working for myself from a home office ... and then quickly our family grew to three children. We moved to Wenatchee in 1997 and a few years later, with the help of my family and a lot of studying, I passed the CPA Exam, becoming a Certified Public Accountant.

I became CCA’s Vice Principal for Finance in January 2010 and it has been a wonderful experience. A wonderful highlight in my time here has been to see all three of our children graduate from CCA; they each grew in so many ways and agree that CCA is a wonderful school with great teachers! Another great highlight for me was when my husband, Greg Ringering, began teaching at CCA in 2012. CCA has been a blessing and a life-changing home for my entire family.
