Battery Requirements for Your Skytech Remote and Receiver
Standard Models: Typically require 4 AA batteries for the receiver & 4 AAA batteries for the remote.
Some Models: Use 2 AAA batteries instead.

Low Battery Icon on the LCD Screen
The most obvious indicator is the appearance of a low battery icon on your remote’s LCD display. This icon signals that the batteries are running out of power and should be replaced promptly.
Dedicated Low Battery Symbol: Often shown as a battery icon with an "X" or the word "LOW" in the upper left corner of the LCD. This indicates about two weeks of battery life remaining.
Reduced Operating Range: You may notice you need to get closer to the receiver for the remote to work effectively.

Dim or Blank LCD Display: The display becomes hard to see or completely dark.
LED Signal Light Not Illuminating: When pressing buttons, the signal light doesn’t light up, indicating weak batteries.
