Jack and Bill began their duet project by sending pictures to each other to use and Bill discovered one of himself to use for their cover. The story behind the picture comes from Bill applying some cream to his face to attempt to combat the horrors of acne and pimples. With this picture in mind, Jack and Bill decided to compose music that would be similar to how Bill felt applying the cream to his face. The first part starts quite weird and he often makes funny faces throughout this time. The middle gets more intense as the cream makes his face tingle a little bit and the end has a sudden drop off followed by the rinsing of his face with a water sound effect. While working on the piece together, they discovered that working with someone on a project didn't have to be difficult or annoying.
The intent Bill had when creating this song was to portray how music does not need to always sound good or cute to be music. He used a fast beat to contrast a more slow and strange sounding synthesizer. He also wanted to convey a sense of anticipation, suspense, or fear of the unknown in this music by creating an uneasy sound that him and everyone else has become quite accustomed to because of the sudden shift in life caused by the pandemic. He began the song with a weird deep voice to show how weird and spontaneous he can be. He also used the strange sounding synth to give the song an almost out of this world feel that is to create a feeling similar to being lost in space and a deep voiced alien is trying to hypnotize you.
For Red Bull’s final collaborative feature on the album, the group decided to experiment with a brand new sound that completely differed from their previous pieces. The vibe that inspired Red Bull’s final song was a mixture of an intense and happy feel. To achieve this, the band members collaborated with each other to begin the song with a strong beat that then transitioned to an electric guitar to produce a happy vibe. Towards the end of the middle of the piece, the song transitions back to a more intense feel with added beats and the elimination of the electric guitar. The song continues with a combination of beats that slows down to finish out the piece.
