Advanced registration is required for the Summer PD Sessions listed below. If you plan to attend the Heartsaver K-12, CRASE and/or CPI Training, please register by May 30th so that we can ensure we have enough registrants to run these in-person training sessions. Thank you!

Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED courses train anyone with little or no medical training to provide first aid, CPR, and use an automated external defibrillator (AED) in a safe, timely, and effective manner.

CPI Training - Wednesday, July 29, 2026 - 8:30 AM-3:00 PM (One day) - CMS Mutlitmedia Center
Identify and know how to respond to various levels of crisis behaviors. Training focuses on de-escalation strategies, nonviolent intervention techniques, and understanding the triggers and cycles of crisis situations. There is an online training component required to be completed prior to the in-person training.

The Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events (CRASE) Course, designed and built on the Avoid, Deny, Defend (ADD) strategy developed by ALERRT in 2004, provides strategies, guidance, and a proven plan for surviving an active shooter event. Topics include the history and prevalence of active-shooter events, civilian response options, medical issues, and considerations for conducting drills. Stop The Bleed Instruction will be included in this training.
CPI Training - Wednesday, August 5, 2026 - 8:30 AM-3:00 PM - CMS Multimedia Center
