PD Tracks

Our Summer PD Menu continues to feature organized Tracks, curated groups of sessions focused on a common theme or instructional area. By organizing professional development this way, we aim to provide targeted, meaningful growth opportunities that align with our district initiatives, teacher feedback, and the data gathered from our annual PD survey.

Teachers may choose to stay within a single Track to build deeper knowledge in one area, or they may complete sessions from a variety of Tracks to suit their individual interests and needs. While Tracks are designed to organize options and highlight areas of focus, they are not a requirement, participants may stay within one Track or mix and match sessions from several.

Compensation Options

1 flex day (6 hours of PD)

2 trade days - Aug. 20 & 21 (12 hours of PD)

2 trade days & 1 flex day (18 hours of PD)

• Please note: Some sessions require pre-registration to determine whether or not the session will be offered. You are encouraged to register ASAP.

• Keep track of your completed PD activities and your time - you will need to report a summary of work completed. 

• Upon completion, please submit the Summer 2026 PD Compensation Google Form (only submit one compensation form after you have completed all of your summer PD) to receive trade day credit.

• Submit the 2026-27 CASD Flex Day Form to receive Flex Day credit.

• If you are completing Summer PD options in the month of June and still need to fulfill your 25/26 Flex Day hours, be sure to complete the 2025-26 CASD Flex Day Form
