The Cross Country teams competed in the Baldwinsville Invitational against over 30 other teams. The girls modified team finished in 13th place as a team; they were led by an 18th place finish from Evelyn Peckham and a strong race from Ava Enderle, who improved her time from last year by over a minute.

The boys modified team was led, yet again, by Hudson Maloney, who finished the mile and half course in 10 minutes and 37 seconds.

The girls varsity team finished 9th with great runs by the freshman duo of Gwyneth Peckham and Ella Harkness.

The boys varsity team finished 16th behind Andrew Bonanno’s 14th place finish and Braycin Jaquith, who shaved 5 minutes off his time from last week.

The Blue Devils Cross Country teams opened their season at home against Port Byron. Evelyn Peckham won the Girl’s Modified Cross Country race and led the team to victory against the Panthers. Hudson Maloney placed first for the boy’s team.

Both Varsity teams started the season strong with wins to go to 1-0.

In the Girl’s Varsity race Callie Gillis led the lady devils to their first victory. 

The Varsity Boys'team pulverized the Panthers as well with strong finishes by Andrew Bonanno, Lucas Conklin and Hunter Stinson.

The team competes at the Baldwinsville Invitational this Saturday.
