Two athletes competed at the Nike Cross Regionals meet in Bowdoin Park. Both Maggie Brown and Elaina Williams placed inside of the top 75 in a very strong field of over 240 runners. Athlete of the meet honors to Maggie Brown and Elaina Williams.
The Section Championship meet brings the season to a close. Both teams finished 5th out of 33 teams. Athlete of the meet honors to Nathan Dennis and Elaina Williams.
The League Championship meet starts the post-season portion of the year. The girls finished 5th out of 17 teams while the boys were 3rd. Congratulations to the following athletes for earning All-League status: 1st Team Elaina Williams, Maggie Brown, Everett Cox, Isaiah McIntyre, Eli Gillis, Lucas Conklin; 2nd Team Isabella Wilkins, Lucy Brown, Wyatt Spratt, Andrew Bonanno. Senior night brings the dual meet schedule to a close. The modified teams both captured a pair of wins as the girls finish the year undefeated at 8-0. The varsity teams also both earned two wins apiece. Excellent weather and some good competition led to some great times at the Weedsport Invitational. The modified girls finished 4th with a top ten finish from Gwyneth Peckham and the boys finished 5th with an overall victory from Hunter Stinson. The varsity girls earned a second place finish with a pair of top ten finishes from Maggie and Lucy Brown, while the boys had a great team effort to finish 4th. Athlete of the meet honors to Hunter Stinson, Sienna Bolton, Isaiah McIntyre, and Myia Kimball.
The teams made the trip up north to APW. The modified girls came away with two wins to improve to 6-0 on the season while the boys were incomplete. Both varsity teams came away with two wins; with the boys remaining undefeated on the season. Athlete of the meet honors to Hunter Stinson, Maddy Maher, Lucas Conklin, and Maggie Brown.
The varity teams took the trip down to New York City for the Manhattan College Invitational. The girls placed 9th in their race while the boys finised 19th. Athlete of the meet honors to Alivia Wilkins, Nathan Dennis, Myia Kimball, Lucy Brown, and Eli Gillis.
The modified teams traveld back to Weedsport to compete in their League Meet. Competing against 10 other teams, the girls finished in 2nd place while the boys were 4th. Athlete of the meet honors to Gwyneth Peckham and Triston Hubbard.
The modified girls continued their winning ways as they move to 4-0 on the season, while the boys dropped their first meet with a loss to Weedsport. On the varsity side the Boys pick up two wins to move to 4-0 and take a comanding lead towards winning the league. The girls got the win over Weedsport but came up just short against Pulaski. Athlete of the meet honors to Hunter Stinson, Sienna Bolton, Isaiah McIntyre, and Lucy Brown.
The teams traveled to Rochester to compete in the McQuaid Invitational against teams from all across the northeast. Girls modified placed 14th out 78 teams with Ella Harkness earning a top 75 place finish. Boys modified placed 24th out of 81 teams with Hunter Stinson leading the way with a top 75 finish. Girls varsity placed 12th out of 81 teams with both Maggie Brown and Elaina Williams grabbing top 20 finishes. Lastly the Boys varsity team placed 17th out of 81 teams with Joey Bonanno leading the way. Athlete of the meet honors to Ella Harkness, Alex Lamson, Lucy Brown, and Andrew Bonanno.
The dual meet season is underway as all four teams pick up a pair of wins. Athlete of the meet honors to Hunter Stinson, Zoe Istel, Andrew Bonanno, and Makinsye Wallace.
The modified teams opened their seasons at the Baldwinsville Invitational. with a pair of top 10 finishes. Both Varsity teams also managed to grab top 10 places in a pair of deep fields. Athlete of the meet honors to Anabelle Edelstein, Ethan Nasholts, Myia Kimball, and Eli Gillis.
The season kicks off with the sectional preview at Mount Markham. Plenty of fast times to go around as both varsity squads secured top 10 finishes.
