Warning Cards:
Last week, I started using warning cards for talking & it seemed to help!
Starting this week, if a student gets a warning card, I will mark it on their conduct sheet with a "W" and 1 conduct point will be deducted.
If the behavior continues, a conduct mark will be issued & the full 3 points will be taken from their weekly conduct grade.

Field Trip Permission Slip:
On Monday, students will come home with a field trip permission slip for C.M. Farms which will be on Friday, November 14.

Packets in Take Home Folder:
FRIENDLY REMINDER: Any packets that are placed in the clear plastic sleeve are to be brought and returned to school daily. ("HMK" will be homework pages and "EP" are optional extra practice worksheets.) Please do not work ahead in the packets.
The students exceeded my expectations with all of the toys they donated. The Hub was very appreciative and knows that these toys will bring joy to many kids in our community!

On Thursday, we will start a novel study!
Freckle Juice
We will read a chapter a day and a variety of skills will be taught.
Students will be given a Freckle Juice packet that must come to and from school every day.
Some pages in the packet will be used as a grade.
Comprehension Test will be given at the end of the novel.
The book will not be sent home, the novel can be found on youtube.
Please do not read ahead!
Voacabulary Words:
4 Vocabulary Words per chapter.
Vocabulary Quiz #1 will be on Chapters 1-3 (Tentative date: September 30)
