Reconciliation:
The journey to the Sacrament of Reconciliation is such a special one, and last Tuesday was simply beautiful! I loved watching from the back of the church as your children took this important step in their faith journey.
The students were reverent throughout the evening. Some entered the confessional feeling very nervous, while others were excited and eager, but all approached the sacrament with sincerity and care. One of my favorite parts of being a 2nd grade teacher is witnessing the priceless smiles of relief afterward and receiving those tight hugs — clear signs of God’s mercy at work in their hearts.
Thank you for sharing your children with me and for the trust you place in CCS. It is a blessing to walk alongside them during this important year. I look forward to continuing our journey together as we prepare for First Holy Communion.
