Candy Writing:

We will be doing a writing on our favorite type of candy next week!
Please send 2 pieces of your child's favorite Halloween candy in a zip lock bag with your child's name. (Snack sized)
I do not want you to have to go out and buy anything.

Praise and Worship:

2nd graders were the winners of Praise and Worship on Friday, so they are awarded with free socks and shoes on Monday!

Highlighters:

The highlighters that were purchased through Teche were gel and we quickly learned that they smear and do not last.
If you would like to donate some new ones for us, they are on my Amazon Wish List. :)

Thursday, November 6:

Friendly Reminder that we will have early dismissal on Thursday due to the expected crowds for The Traveling Relics of St. Thérèse, the Little Flower.

The Rosary

Last week, we learned how to pray the Rosary! My precious 2nd graders had a wonderful time making their own Rosary foldables and showed such reverence and respect during our prayer time.

C.M. Farms Field Trip

1. 1. School uniforms must be worn.
  2. Students are expected to be at school on Friday morning between 6:45-7:00. Buses will be leaving promptly at 7:00 a.m. All girls will board the 1st bus and all boys will be on the 2nd bus. Buses will be parked on St. John St. near the front gates of the school.
  3. Lunch will NOT be provided by the school, so your child will need to bring lunch from home in a lunch box or a ziplock bag with his/her name. Students may also bring snacks & drinks (with a screw cap) for the bus ride. Food must be on the approved list.
  4. Travel games, cards, books, etc. are allowed for the ride to and from CM Farms. NO ELECTRONICS ARE ALLOWED!
  5. Please have all belongings in a bag/backpack for your child to carry on the bus.
  6. There is a gift shop on the grounds, so you may send your child with money to buy souvenirs. Your child will be responsible for keeping track of his/her own money.
  7. All parents who plan to attend can meet us there around 9:00. Parents are allowed to check out their own child upon completion of the field trip. Please let me know if you plan to check him/her out.
