I graduated from Appalachian State University with a degree in English, Secondary Education and a minor in history. This will be my 2nd year teaching English in North Carolina! I am an avid reader (comes with the territory!) and love to spend time with my dog, Remi, and my cats, Catsby and Pepper. My one year old niece is the center of my universe currently, so I spend an insane amount of time learning the ropes of corralling a small, willful human! I also love to play video games - my most recent endeavor being The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
