Showcase Visits: Seeing is Believing

Showcase visits are valuable learning opportunities that inspire and motivate educators to implement effective structured literacy practices. Visitors observe structured literacy “in action,” in campuses and classrooms with strong reading proficiency outcomes and interact with K-3 teachers and leaders, and gather practical insights. Host campuses also gain advantages by preparing for and communicating their structured literacy methods and showcasing their progress in reading proficiency. Hosting districts frequently leverage campus showcases to highlight successful structured literacy instruction within the district. These events serve as a platform to internally promote effective practices and identify high-performing K-3 reading proficiency classrooms and campuses as models for district-wide replication.
During a showcase visit, you can expect:
A district and campus overview.
Observations of K-3 classrooms demonstrating strong reading proficiency.
A Q&A session with a panel of teachers.
