Students are able to access the books used in the lessons by reading an e-book version or reading along with the video version of the story. For K-2, each lesson has a fiction and nonfiction book on a given topic and activities/puzzles to complete that go along with the texts. For 3-5, each lesson involves engaging articles and stories on topics with thought-provoking questions and extension activities.

Kate Messner, author of the Ranger in Time series among other children's books, has compiled a list of distance learning resources including read-aloud videos and videos about the writing process for use by students, teachers, and librarians. Many of these videos include writing activity prompts based on the read-alouds. Click on the picture to the left to learn more.

They just click on the bingo square that they choose and it will take them directly to the slide that contains all of the instructions for that assignment. You can make your own copy to save in your Google Drive here. You can access Kasey's article about this resource here.
