How To Become a Thespian

To become active card-holding member* of the International Thespian Society a student must fulfill the following requirements:

1) Document ten (10) thespian points = 100 hours (These 10 points cannot be earned in one production. You must commit to at least two productions and earn a minimum of 2 points in technical theatre work such as set construction, painting, lighting, sound, costuming, run crew, etc)

2) Attend a majority of all thespian meetings during the current year. (You must attend 75% or more of meetings to be eligible. Each meeting you attend will add 0.1 to your thespian points.)

3) Be actively involved in the Cascade Theatre program. You must be involved in at least one (1) production as an actor, technician, or director during the current year AND/OR participate in one (1) State Thespian Event.

4) Record your own hours and points accurately throughout the year.

NOTE* You may lose "active membership" status of the troupe if you do not continue ongoing participation in the department (example: not attending meetings after becoming inducted)
