We sell cars, but we’re not car salespeople. Since 2013, we’ve been making it our mission to change the way people search for, purchase, trade-in, finance, and receive used vehicles, and we’re not taking our foot off of the gas any time soon.
By empowering car owners everywhere and putting customer satisfaction at the core of our business, we’ve built a no-pressure, no-haggling, 100% online car buying and selling experience that puts the customer in the driver’s seat.
Team spirit is evident at Carvana and every day we let our passions and creativity foster innovation. We take big swings, set ambitious goals, and challenge each other to make process-driven decisions in everything we do. We are fast-paced, dynamic, ever-changing, and experiencing hyper-growth. It’s truly an exciting time to be here!
We thrive by building a team with unique perspectives and our strength is in our diversity of opinions. We hire brave, energetic, ambitious individuals that thrive in an ever-changing environment. Disrupting an industry can be challenging at times, but we’re unrelenting in our pursuit to make things better for car owners everywhere.
WE'RE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER
We're an eclectic group of mechanics, drivers, car nuts, artists, coders, advocates, numbers junkies, creators, builders, buyers, and much more. Even though each and every one of us shares a common mission, we'll sometimes have our differences and that's okay. Just always remember the only way to succeed is with the trust, understanding, and respect for each other.
THERE ARE NO SIDELINES
This is the point when a sports analogy has to be used, but we promise it is for good reason. There are no sidelines. There's no bench filled with other players ready to take over for you. We're all on the field and working our faces off. So get out there. Make something happen. And while we promise not to dump Gatorade over your head, your hand's gonna hurt like a mofo from all the high 5s.
YOUR NEXT CUSTOMER MAY BE YOUR MOM
From day one, we've been working to build a business worthy of our moms. Because who wouldn't want their mom to be treated with the best care and respect if one day, they were to do a secret-shopper session at Carvana? Each of our customers deserved that same respect and care each and every day. Our customers have had to contend with the crusty, old way of car shopping for so darned long, let's show them how it's done, mama-style.
BE BRAVE
Don't be afraid to take risks.
To try.
To fail spectacularly.
To leave nothing unsaid.
To be decisive.
To assert yourself.
To take on new challenges.
To get out of your comfort zone.
To say, "I don't know."
Don't be afraid to be brave.
ZAG FORWARD
The way we see it, there's been about a hundred or so years of zigging that's resulted in the painful process of car buying. We're not going that direction. In fact, the old way's centered firmly in our rearview mirror because where we're going can't be solved with outdated ideas. Where we're headed requires unlimited curiosity to think up amazing experiences for our customers. We have our north star to guide us and our job is to lay down whatever unconventional road we see fit to get there.
DON'T BE A RICHARD
Unless of course, your name is Richard
STAY SCRAPPY
"Good enough" isn't good enough. Not for us. We can always do more. We can probably do it with less. The more we do and the less money we spend to do it, the more our customers will save. Mediocracy starts when we settle. We don't settle. We fight. We fight for better.
