A comprehensive process to prepare students for career transition is in place. Students are given co-curricular and extra-curricular opportunities that support career goals. Students are supported and recognized by staff.
A cohesive career awareness and employability plan is in place across all courses
Students are taught soft skills and career skills for employability in the Public Safety pathway that are in-line with the California Standards.
Students are taken on site visits and to group events for team building and learning.
Students are taken on field trips to local law enforcement facilities and events to build social networks for future employment.

Students are also offered mental health awareness activities throughout the year, with onsite counselors to assist with substance addiction and abuse along with a school psychologist.

Students compete in Career Skills challenges and in CTE events to make them aware of different career opportunities and skills. These skills can be used in their future careers.
