Equipment used in the training program must be of the type and quality found to provide training to meet the program goals and performance objectives. The facilities must be appropriate for the variety of learning activities which occur in the LPS classrooms.

Instructor has adequate personal space to plan and work. Prior to each school year 3 days are allotted to teachers without students in class for reorganization of their spaces/classrooms.
The classroom are equipped with updated and functional equipment per CA DOE requirements.
Appropriate, up-to-date multi-media equipment and hardware such as LCD projectors, speakers, digital cameras, video cameras, DVD players and writers, tablets and other emerging instructional technologies are readily available to the classroom.
Classroom instructional technology is updated, functional, and available. Students use online assignments and communications that are inline with local colleges.
Students have adequate technology to meet program goals and prepare students for careers.
Tools and equipment mirror what is used in industry appropriate to skills being taught.
Program spaces are safe and have proper safety equipment.
Proper PPE is available and used during training and instruction.
Forensics labs follow proper science lab safety policies.
Accident report policy is available.
Students and staff are aware of emergency procedures.
Chemicals/combustibles are located and stored properly.
Classroom and laboratory meet all state and federal safety requirements.
There are sufficient consumable materials and supplies. When materials are needed district requisition forms are available online for ordering of new materials or replacement materials.
