Proper policies in place for training equipment and materials
Proper budgeting process
Plans in place for maintaining and replacing consumables, course content, software, equipment, and/or instructional support materials.
Entire budget for the ROP classes totals $10,000.
My program uses this budget on an as needed basis yearly. When an item is damaged or in disrepair, a district requisition form is completed and passed through various channels for the items to then be purchased upon approval.
Each year the program uses the provided funds for 2 field trips and replacement equipment and consumable materials like gloves, fingerprint cards, report forms, evidence bags, casting putty/clay, etc.
An on site ROP Advisor is in place for making decisions about consumables, course content, software, equipment, and/or instructional support materials. The instructor also works closely with the Fresno County Office of Education to procure new equipment and learning opportunities.
